Roger was transferred to Jersey in 1971 when working for National Westminster Bank and has remained here ever since. He joined Broadlands in 1982 and became Managing Director some 15 years ago. His knowledge of all aspects of the local property scene is extensive and his experience invaluable. He oversees the negotiators and ensures they remain motivated in ensuring clients and applicants are looked after at all times. He is particularly knowledgeable of the upper market and can offer sound advice to incoming wealthy immigrants. He has always been a keen sportsman although nowadays he tends to concentrate on occasional forays on the rugby pitch, long boarding in gentle waves and playing golf at La Moye.
Born to the world of Estate Agency and Property, Erica was accompanying her father from the age of 10 and particularly liked open viewings on Saturday mornings. It was clear that she was a 'natural' and a chip off the old block! After leaving JCG in 1999 Erica worked for a local law firm before joining us as a sales negotiator. A favourite with clients and the legal profession Erica created an excellent reputation and an impressive sales record. In 2005 Erica was made a director where she was the main driving force behind a complete update of all of our systems. Her busy professional life has been interrupted only by 2 maternity leave periods and she is now the proud mother of two lovely boys! Now back in the rough and tumble of office life she is moving the company forward keeping us apace with IT progress.
Locally educated at Victoria College, & Kelly College in Devon, Nigel joined the Broadlands team in 1999 and has a long history in sales within the Island. He is active in all areas of the market place but specialises particularly in high value property. He is very well known and well-connected within the property industry and the Island due to his affable approach and honest nature. Nigel is an excellent team player stretching back to his teens when he was part of a three man water-skiing team with the current chairman and managing director & incidentally still holds the around the Island water-skiing record! In his spare time, Nigel enjoys spending time with his three grown up children who are all at university in England, and attending the 'Gallery Rally' in France.
Peter Ridgway has lived in Jersey since 1961 and ran his own successful local estate agency from 1983 – 1990 before selling out to an International Insurance company. In 1997 Peter joined Broadlands as a Negotiator & specialises in both Commercial Property & mid to upper market residential sales, especially in the East of the Island. When not working Peter is a keen sportsman and enjoys golf, tennis & boating.
Don has vast experience in local business having held senior management roles at the JEP, Le Riches Stores & ITV Channel Television. He won and ran the Channel Islands’ McDonald's franchise in 1995 and launched www.channelonline.tv ten years later. Don joined Broadlands in 2008 and specialises in both commercial & mid to upper market residential sales.
Harry Trower, a local boy, has been working at Broadlands for nine years. Being in touch with the younger members of society, Harry is a valuable contact for first time buyers and apartment sales. He is a highly motivated member of the Broadlands sales team & always delivers an extremely friendly approach and honest opinion in the workplace. Specialising in sales and lettings he is always ready to offer advise. Outside the office Harry enjoys an active lifestyle with hobbies including surfing, cycling, running and other pursuits.
Andrew joined Broadlands in 2014, bringing with him a wealth of sales experience and knowledge having worked as a yacht broker for Sunseeker Channel Islands selling prestigious motor boats for 10 years. As an ‘Old Victorian’, he offers clients and applicants a dedicated, friendly and honest approach, using his extensive local network of contacts. Outside of work Andrew is happiest when he is either on or under the water and finds great pleasure whilst surfing, windsurfing, diving & fishing. He looks forward to hearing from you.
Allison was born in Jersey and educated at Jersey College For Girls. On leaving school, she worked in Trust for 10 years, dealing with large commercial property acquisitions, before progressing into local estate agency. Having grown up in a family with a rich background in the Jersey property industry, it was inevitable that she would develop a keen interest both personally and professionally. As a result, Allison has an extensive knowledge of the Island, and the property market. Having recently taken time out to focus on raising her 2 children, Allison is now delighted to be working with the team at Broadlands, and has been with us since 2015.
Doug is an experienced negotiator having worked in the industry since 2008. With further sales experience from the construction side he has extensive knowledge in his field. Much of his expertise lies in the lower to middle market, finding enjoyment in helping people with their first purchase on the property ladder and guiding them through the process. Doug is Jersey born, educated at De La Salle College, and finished his education at the University of Brighton. Highly self-motivated, Doug prides himself on his honest approach. A keen sportsman and family man, spending much of his spare time helping his son with his boxing ambitions.
Mark is an experienced property negotiator having worked in the local property market for 9 years. Having previously worked as a mortgage advisor his extensive knowledge and experience helps him to assist both buyers and sellers alike. Mark has a hands on approach and works hard to match buyer’s needs to the appropriate property and looks forward to assisting you in your property search. Jersey born & locally educated, having served in the Territorial Army in his younger days he now prefers a more sedate way to unwind and you’ll find him walking the dog on the beach with his wife most weekends or on the golf course.
Educated at Jersey College for Girls, Joanna worked in the marketing industry prior to joining Broadlands in 2015. She is a key part of the team that keeps the cogs turning behind the scenes and has played a major part in the ongoing development of our support system, website and social media streams. Joanna has grown up in a ‘property family’ and has shown a keen interest herself, conducting open and private viewings in her own time. She is already a hit on the sales side and keeps an eye out for buyers, many of whom are searching for their first home. She is definitely a negotiator in the making – we may need a new office person soon!
Dave first arrived in Jersey in 1990 after travelling around Europe. He liked the Island so much he stayed. Dave has 3 lovely children and is enjoying life in Jersey. He has always had an interest in property and spent many years in designing home improvements and preparing properties for the market. He is very experienced as a negotiator and is looking forward to using his skills in a new challenge at Broadlands.
